Slipknot lead singer Corey Taylor posted a tweet to give some exciting news to his devoted fanbase about his upcoming projects, which will be completed and released this year.

Slipknot released their sixth studio album entitled ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ on August 9, 2019. Corey Taylor revealed in September 2020 that they have already started working on their new record. He described the process as ‘pretty rad’ and expressed his excitement.

However, Taylor has continued pursuing his solo projects as well, and one of them was writing five scripts. He also announced his upcoming work ‘Zombie Versus Ninja,’ a gonzo horror comedy, which is one of Taylor’s favorite genres. A few days ago, the frontman shared updates about these by adding one of them to his list.

In his recent tweet, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor stated that ‘big shit is coming’ and exclaimed, ‘Hold on to your butts’ while announcing that he will be focusing on ‘Zombie Versus Ninja,’ the band’s seventh studio album. He also mentioned a secret ‘homecoming plan’ without giving any details about it, which made his fans very excited.

Taylor’s tweet read:

“Big Shit Coming, 2022 edition: ‘ZvN’ updates, SK album, secret ‘homecoming’ plans, etc. Stay Tuned!
