Cherry Bombs’ founder and the wife of Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, Alicia Taylor, took to her official Twitter account to share her reaction about the people who buy fake followers on social media.
Yesterday, Mötley Crüe bass guitarist Nikki Sixx shared a new post on Twitter, and he stated that he finds it so weird that some of the people buy followers to make themselves feel important and criticized this kind of behavior.
Alicia replied to this post today and unveiled her reaction to Nikki’s post. Alicia said that she mentioned this fact about a week ago and know people who buy fake accounts to be called as an influencer.
In the post, Alicia slammed these people by saying that they are cheating and being lazy about being an important person and showed her stance against this unappreciated behavior.
Here is what Nikki Sixx said:
“I still find it weird that people buy followers to make themselves feel important…”
Alicia Taylor replied:
“Didn’t I say something about this like a week ago? I know people who buy spam accounts to make it look like there are more followers so they can be an ‘influencer.’
In my opinion, it’s cheating/lazy and an attempt at a flash in the pan way to make money.”
