Lacuna Coil vocalist Cristina Adriana Chiara Scabbia, known as Cristina Scabbia, spoke in the recent interview with Metal Hammer and revealed his opinion about the greatest albums like Metallica’s ‘Black Album,’ Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall,’ and more.
The legendary album of Pink Floyd, The Wall, released in 1979 and affected the whole music scene from one genre to another. The 80-minute long album was ranked the best album almost the whole charts in between 1979-80.
Cristina touched upon the beauty of ‘The Wall’ and defined it as magic. She said that this album still has a huge impact on the music industry and this is an incredible success from Pink Floyd that only some of the bands could make it.
Also, Metallica’s Black Album was released in 1991 and become one of the best albums in the metal music history. It blew the charts in the whole world, and the songs like Enter Sandman, Sad But True, and Nothing Else Matters, were in this album.
In the interview, Cristina stated that Black Album is the definition of metal music and praised Metallica’s work on that album. Furthermore, she said that the sound, attitude, and spirit of the album was something else.
Additionally, Cristina mentioned that this album changed the metal industry in terms of riffs, rhythm, lyrics, and everything’s changed after the release of the Black Album. In this way, she showed his admiration for Metallica and proved why they are one of the best bands in the world.
