Imagine Dragons’ frontman Dan Reynolds recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account after over a month of taking a social media break and revealed that they have been writing his favorite record which he can barely sing without breaking into tears.
As you may recall, Dan Reynolds had made it to our headlines at the beginning of December 2020, after deleting all of his tweets from his Twitter account. Even though he used to enjoy using his social media accounts before, he had suddenly deleted all of his tweets which had raised concerns as his fans knew that he was struggling with his mental health.
However, he put his fans’ minds at rest with his recent tweet when he revealed that he has actually been working on a new record which he described as his favorite. In his emotional tweet, Dan Reynolds said that he ‘tried to sing some of it’ while driving in his car, but that he felt overwhelmed with memories.
Reynolds said that he couldn’t stop thinking about the amazing live performances Imagine Dragons has put on and how great it felt sharing those moments with their fans. These thoughts brought tears to his eyes and even though he was sing-crying in his car alone, he felt surrounded by millions of fans. He ended his emotional message by saying that he can’t wait to be with them again.
Here’s what Dan Reynolds said in his recent tweet:
“We are writing my favorite record. I tried to sing some of it in my car tonight and was overwhelmed with memories of live shows with you.
I ended up sing–crying in my car alone but felt surrounded by millions of you around the world. Envisioned us singing together. Soon. X”
