Dave Grohl played the drums along to Nirvana’s classic ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ during the live event for the Storyteller. During the performance, Kurt Cobain’s voice also accompanied the drummer.

As you may know, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl wrote a new book titled ‘Dave Grohl: The Storyteller.’ In his memoir, the musician talked about the remarkable moments of his career both with Nirvana and Foo Fighters, and it was released a few days ago.

Recently, Dave Grohl went to perform at New York Town Hall to promote his new book. During the show, the prolific musician got behind his drums to give an emotional and powerful performance of Nirvana’s greatest hit, ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit.’

With this performance, Grohl delighted his fans’ ears and gave them a rare chance to see him perform the well-known rock classic. To make things more exciting, Kurt Cobain’s vocals accompanied him while he was playing the drums. Therefore, the show was just like a 2021 performance of Nirvana.

During the event, Grohl also performed the acoustic versions of two Foo Fighters hits named ‘My Hero’ and ‘Everlong.’ So, this was an unforgettable moment for the fans to witness.
