Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine shared a new video on his verified Instagram account today to announce the world’s first Megadeth NFT, and it’s now available on auction via Rarible.

As you may not be familiar with the term NFT, it’s a non-fungible token that is something unique on the internet and it can’t be replaced with anything else. NFTs are part of the Ethereum blockchain, and it can be anything digital such as MP3s, digital games, drawings, and digital art.

According to the caption of the post, Megadeth’s iconic mascot Vic Rattlehead’s animated video is now on auction via Rarible. As you may remember, Vic Rattlehead was renewed after the band made a competition via DeviantArt, and the new version of it was used on the cover of their eleventh studio album, ‘United Abominations.’

According to the announcement, the auction will go through April 12, and the current bid of the Megadeth NFT is 0.15 Weth which is equal to $303.52.
