The co-founder and frontman of Megadeth, Dave Mustaine has commemorated the legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen and expressed condolences to his beloved ones a bit later than the rest of the community, who has been mourning since yesterday.
As you know, the whole music industry and the metal community have been shattered by the death news of Eddie Van Halen on Tuesday, October 6. After his on and off fight with tongue and throat cancers for years, Van Halen passed away since cancer had moved to his brain, along with other organs.
It came out that the legend died at the age of 65 at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica with all of his family members including his wife, Janie, his son, Wolfgang, his former wife, Valerie Bertinelli, and his brother, Alex Van Halen, by his side.
Soon after the bad news was announced by Wolfgang Van Halen, countless friends of Eddie, the musicians who have been inspired by him over the years, and all of his fans have mourned the great loss.
The iconic guitarist and vocalist, Dave Mustaine, has finally shown up on social media to express his sorrows about Eddie Van Halen’s death, long after the musicians like Brian May, Kirk Hammett, Gene Simmons, and more.
Mustaine said he’s heartbroken to hear about the passing of the legendary Edward Van Halen. He added his sincere condolences to Van Halen’s family and all who held him close in his recent tweet.
