Megadeth has released their latest album called “Dystopia” in the past year. Kiko Loureiro and Chris Adler took part in this album as guitarist and drummer. The album was really successful and won the Grammy Award in the past days.
There is something that everyone is curious about right now. When will Megadeth’s new album be released? Does the band work on the new album? Dave Mustaine clarified these questions.
Speaking in an interview with Radio.com, Dave Mustaine said:
“We have started thinking about the next album. Usually, when I finish a record I put the guitar down and don’t pay attention to it for a while.
It’ll start to call to me, and fortunately recently it’s been calling to me a little bit. It’s just kind of hard because I don’t want to get engrossed in something and then realize that it’s going to be another year before I get into the studio.”
Then, asked whether “the next Megadeth album will be out in 2018,” Dave stated:
“Most definitely, we’re not doing anything in the studio this year, we’ve got two big U.S. tours this year, and then we’ve got a bunch of European dates that we’re doing too, so we’re pretty busy.“
Megadeth’s new album will be available in 2018. At least, Dave Mustaine hopes that.
