Megadeth lead singer Dave Mustaine recently recorded a Cameo video for one of his fans which made everyone very surprised. In the video, Mustaine teased a new song from the band’s new album.
Megadeth released their latest and fifteenth studio album entitled ‘Dystopia’ on January 22, 2016, without knowing that it would be their bassist David Ellefson’s last record for the band. Ellefson was fired from Megadeth earlier this year after his leaked sex video scandal.
Therefore, the band’s sixteenth studio album’s release had to be rescheduled because Mustaine had to find a new bassist to re-record Ellefson’s bass parts. Finally, Megadeth hired a new bassist for ‘The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!’ but didn’t give any details about the person who replaced Ellefson.
On one of his new Cameo videos, Mustaine wanted to give a special gift to his fan and shared a snippet of the band’s new song named ”Life in Hell’ which will be released on the upcoming album. After the video was uploaded on Youtube as well, all Megadeth fans are looking forward to listening to the whole record.
In Mustaine’s words, he said:
“I will play you something that’s been recorded already in that special. How would you like to hear a little bit of the new album? This is song two from side one and it’s called ‘Life in Hell.’
A little special surprise for you buddy. I think it makes you the first person in the outside world, studio, band, and my family that heard any music from the new record.”
