As you know, thrash metal legend Slayer have revealed the shocking news that announced their farewell world tour, which will be held in 2018.
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine shared his thoughts about Slayer’s farewell on Twitter. He said that he hopes one more Big 4 show before end of the Slayer’s final tour. He said:
“I hope for at least one more Big 4 Show before the end of Slayer’s final tour. It just wouldn’t be right. Anyone else with me?”
Back in 2016, Metallica bassist Rob Trujillo spoke in an interview with Loudwire and explained his thoughts about possibility of Big 4. He said:
“The Big Four tour was really great. We had a great time – it was special and fun and I love Dave. Dave is amazing. Right now, the main focus is we’ve got this new album and we’re going to go out and we’re going to tour this and get into these new songs and take this journey right now.
Maybe after we get this sort of out of our system, we can dive into Big Four mode and try and do that. I can see us doing it again. It was definitely a lot of fun. It makes me feel good that Dave wants to take that journey again.”
