Megadeth founder and current frontman Dave Mustaine’s lovely daughter, Electra Mustaine, penned a really long letter to celebrate her followers’ Easter. Instead, she tries to be positive and hopeful, she could not hide the sadness behind her emotions.

As you might read the caption, in the middle of the letter, Electra stated that she wants to keep the letter short but later on, she let her feelings flow until the end of the post.

Here is that emotional letter of Electra:

“Happy Easter everyone!!!! ⭐️ I am so grateful for unconditional LOVE today. Have you ever run from someone who gives to you? Almost like you don’t love yourself enough to feel worthy. Afraid if they get to know you they’ll be sorry, so you don’t want them to get close. When someone loves us more than we value ourself we sabotage that relationship, we don’t want them to get close enough and find out we aren’t as good as they think we are. ⠀

But here’s the good news: there is no definition of romantic love or of God’s love that can adequately explain the experience!! (So I’ll try to keep it short, because I’m really not one to “preach” but, this has been my experience)…

She continued:

“No matter who you are or how underserving you may feel, no matter what you’ve done or will do, nothing can make Him love you less (or more), and stop him from longing for you. You don’t have to be perfect or “do” anything. He already loves you just as you are, and today Jesus proved that! ⠀

I feel like through this weird season we’re all in, it’s actually brought us closer together (figuratively not physically lol). I see families spending more time together, kindness consuming peoples day-to-day. It’s pretty magical. So! Lets all give love, AND let ourselves receive love today!⠀”

ILY all— Happy Easter! xx”
