The founding member of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, David Crosby, recently responded to a fan’s tweet through his official Twitter account and revealed that during a time in his life, he had fallen in love with the talented musician and songwriter Joni Mitchell.

As you know, David Crosby is one of the rockstars who are the most active on their social media accounts, and he often uses his Twitter account to interact with his fans and answer their questions about rock music and musicians. In his recent response to a fan’s tweet, he admitted that he too was one of the millions of guys who had fallen in love with Joni Mitchell.

Crosby had expressed his admiration of Joni Mitchell some months ago when he was asked to name the top three lyricists of all time. He had said that he considers her to be the best lyricist of all time. As you know, Joni Mitchell is a Canadian singer and songwriter who has been praised by millions as one of the best musicians of all time. She has received numerous accolades and 9 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Recently, a fan told Crosby that they watched Mitchell’s performance of ‘Both Sides Now‘ from the late ’60s and said that they understand why ‘all those guys fell in love with her.’ As a response, Crosby said that he was one of those guys as ‘it wasn’t hard‘ because she is such a great musician and an amazing woman.

Here’s what a fan said to Crosby:

“Watched a clip of Ms. Joni Mitchell tonight playing and singing ‘Both Sides Now’ from about 1969 or so, and I was like ‘of course all those guys fell in love with her.'”

To which Crosby responded:

We all didit wasn’t hard.”
