David Crosby, the founding member of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, in addition to his solo career, shared a post on his official Twitter page and replied to a fan asking for a reunion with the legendary musician Neil Young.

Crosby, Stills & Nash were a folk-rock band consists of singer-songwriters David Crosby and Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash. When joined by singer and songwriter Neil Young as a fourth member, they are called Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, CSNY. They have not made an album since 1999’s Looking Forward, and are inactive as of 2020.

As you might remember, back in 2014, David Crosby publicly declared that the new girlfriend of one of his bandmates, Neil Young, was a ‘purely poisonous predator‘ who wasn’t worthy of Young’s affection.  Even though Crosby apologized to Neil Young and his girlfriend many times publicly and privately according to Crosby’s interviews, Young never responded to his apologies.

Recently a fan asked Crosby to reunite with Young and Crosby replied to his fan’s statement on his official Twitter page. Crosby stated that he would reunite with Young, however, Young is not interested and Crosby is quite happy with his current life.

Here is how Crosby responded to his fan:

I would… But I think he’s not interested and frankly, I am really In love with the two bands I’m in nowhere near as big but really fine people, friends, making what is for me, some of the best music of my life.”
