Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and The Byrds co-founding member, and co-lead vocalist David Crosby recently answered some of his fans’ questions through his Twitter account and two of them were considering a possible Broadway musical featuring his old band and a brand new solo studio album.

As you know, Crosby started climbing the ladder of fame as the co-founder, rhythm guitarist, and vocalist of The Byrds in the mid-’60s. His fame increased, even more, when he formed Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1969 with the addition of Neil Young later on. Crosby also had a successful career as a solo artist and has released multiple studio albums.

Recently, he received numerous questions from his fans and one of them was about whether he has ever been asked to ‘use the catalog of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young to make a Broadway musical.’ There is no doubt that this would be amazing for rock fans, who excitedly waited for Crosby’s answer which was ‘I believe there will be one yes.’

Another interesting question that Crosby received was whether he’ll release his fifth album in seven years any time soon. As you know, there has been a rumor going around that Crosby has been preparing a new album for his fans, and as it turns out, based on his recent tweet, the rumors were true as his response was ‘very soon.’

This is what a follower asked David Crosby:

“Have you ever been asked to use the catalog of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young to make a Broadway musical?”

And he responded by saying:

I believe there will be one yes.”

Here’s what another fan asked the rockstar:

“Delete that ‘are you writing music’ question, Gina. Ask instead; is your 5th album in 7 years coming out very soon?”

To which Crosby responded:

Very soon.”
