Former Megadeth bassist who was a member of the band for decades, David Ellefson, had an interview with Loudwire this week and shared his thoughts for the first time after being fired by Megadeth.
As you may remember, earlier this week, Megadeth made a recent announcement on their official social media accounts to reveal that they officially parted ways with Ellefson. The band stated that David is no longer playing with Megadeth and despite now knowing every detail of what occurred, what has already revealed is enough to fire the bassist
Today, Ellefson broke his silence for the first time ever and announced that he is working with Scottsdale Police Department to investigate the people who leaked his sex videos. He also did not forget to wish a great career to his former bandmates.
Here is what he said:
“Recently, a very private video was illegally posted on the internet and false allegations were made against me. The actions in the video were between two consenting adults and were recorded without my knowledge. I am working with Scottsdale Police Department in their investigation into charges regarding revenge pornography to be filed against the person who posted this video.
Also, my lawyers are preparing a defamation lawsuit to be filed against this person. This person will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I am taking this time to be with my family. I wish my bandmates the best with their upcoming tour.”
