Pink Floyd guitarist and singer Dave Gilmour has responded to question about possible Pink Floyd reunion in a recent podcast on Youtube.
As you can read below, David Gilmour talked on Pink Floyd reunion and said ‘never say never’.
Interviewer asked ‘do you have any future plans for Pink Floyd to get back together?’, and David responded:
“Yeah, the inevitable question. We don’t have any plans right now, it’s still Nick [Mason] and me on – I suppose you could say some sort of extended hiatus, you know. One day in the future, who knows? Never say never.”
Back in February 2019, Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason spoke in an interview with Meltdown, and talked about possibility of classic lineup reunion for Pink Floyd.
He sent a message to Roger Waters and David Gilmour, and said ‘I’m ready’. Here’s the statement:
“It’s the question everyone would like answered, but I don’t really think so. I think Roger and David [Gilmour] are happier doing their own things and not working together.
It would be great if they did, I’m ready, but I’m certainly not going to hold my breath.”
