Pink Floyd frontman David Gilmour recently shared the behind-the-scenes video of ‘Live At Pompeii’ on his official YouTube channel.

On May 31, 2017, Gilmour announced his new live album and film ‘Live At Pompeii.’ The film documented the shows he performed on 7 and 8 July 2016 at the Amphitheatre of Pompeii, and it was screened on September 13, 2017, at selected movie theaters. Moreover, Gilmour released the live album on September 29, 2017.

Documenting Gilmour’s 2015-2016 world tour to promote the album ‘Rattle That Lock,’ ‘Live At Pompeii’ was directed by Gavin Elder. Gilmour also shared preview videos before the release on his official YouTube channel. As it seems, he recently watched the behind-the-scenes video of the film and decided to share it with his fans.

A couple of days ago, David Gilmour shared the behind-the-scenes video of ‘Live At Pompeii’ on his YouTube channel under the title ‘Return To Pompeii.’ According to Gilmour, he watched the video himself the other day and enjoyed it. Therefore, he shared the video on his channel to enable his fans to enjoy it as well.

The video features footage from the making of the documentary and several performances of Gilmour on the set. The video was narrated by David Gilmour, and the fans got the chance to hear the musician’s thoughts about the film.
