Pink Floyd’s singer David Gilmour’s wife, Polly Samson, recently posted a video on her Instagram account and thanked her fans for their support by using the song by her husband and daughter, Romany Gilmour.

Polly Samson is one of the most popular English novelists and her recent book ‘A Theatre For Dreams‘ achieved critical acclaim and was declared ‘The Sunday Time Best Seller.’ Aside from a writer with five novels, Polly is also a lyricist and journalist. She is credited as the lyricist behind many of both Pink Floyd and David Gilmour’s successful songs.

Polly recently posted a video on her Instagram account with which she thanked her fans for their immense support and positive reviews. She used her husband and daughter’s song as the background music of the video she posted which was definitely a nice touch.

As you may know, after five years of absence, David Gilmour released a new song ‘Yes, I Have Ghosts‘ in July with his daughter Romany who can be heard singing and playing the harp. The song was written by Polly and David and it became a huge success.

Polly decided to use their song as the background of her video which features some reviews by popular newspapers such as Daily Telegraph, The Times, and Daily Mail. She said that the positive comments brought joy in a year that can be described as tricky.

Here’s what Polly Samson said in the caption of her Instagram post:

“Seeing so many people saying so many lovely things about ‘A Theatre For Dreamers’ really has brought joy in a tricky year. Huge thanks to everyone who’s supported it and if you’d like to get a copy – including signed ones – they’re available via the link in my bio.”
