One of the most iconic rock music photographers of all time, Ross Halfin, posted a couple of special photos on his official Instagram page today and took fans’ attention with those frames.
Ross unearthed one of the most special photos of Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth, and one of his followers who commented on the post was yet another legend, Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe.
Here is what Ross wrote about the photos:
“As he opens the show for Kiss tonight, a bit of Diamond Dave, Ice cream man taken at the Rainbow Theatre, London, October 1978 #rosshalfin #davidleeroth”
Mötley Crüe legend showed his respect to David by writing this:
“He was the king.”
