Twisted Sister’s frontman Dee Snider, recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and announced that he has been planning a reunion with TW in honor of their deceased bandmate A.J. Pero and advised his fans not to miss it.
As you know, Twisted Sister was founded in 1972 but they released their first album ten years later which marked their rise in fame. They became one of the most popular and influential bands of the ’80s but soon after achieving mainstream success, Snider announced his decision to leave the band which shocked all their fans.
The conflicts leading to the disbandment were never clearly stated but it was quite obvious that they were related to Dee Snider and these suspicions were confirmed in the documentary called ‘We Are Twisted Fucking Sister!’ Upon their disbandment, there were some attempted reunions but none of them worked out.
Twisted Sister gave out their last performance a year after their bandmate A.J. Pero’s passing, on November 12, 2016, in Monterrey. However, in his recent tweet, Dee Snider announced that the legendary band will be reuniting on Saturday night, March 20, ‘to celebrate the life of their bandmate A.J. Pero’ and said that their fans should definitely check this performance out.
Here’s what Dee Snider said in his tweet:
“You don’t want to miss this Twisted Sister reunion!”
