Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider recently responded to a question considering President Joe Biden through his Twitter account which attracted a series of reactions by his fans, some of which supported Dee’s stance while others criticized him for riping on others’ past mistakes.

As you know, Dee Snider is one of the most politically vocal rockstars in the rock scene right now. His bold and sincere statements often attract a lot of attention, which nonetheless, never discourages Snider from speaking his mind and sharing his views on various matters.

Recently, he responded to a question on Twitter and revealed what he thinks about Joe Biden. Dee characterized him as a ‘decent man who has dedicated his life to public service’ and has survived tragedies that made him wiser and stronger. However, he added that he’s surrounded by ‘corrupt naysayers‘ who feel no shame while they’re ripping off their own country.

This description received a lot of comments, one of which slammed Snider for being unforgiving. The Twitter user said that Dee ‘tends to rip on others’ past mistakes’ just because they share different political views, but looks the other way when his friends make a mistake. As an example, he posted Sebastian Bach’s photo in which he’s wearing a t-shirt saying ‘AIDS kills fags dead‘ due to which he had received a lot of criticism.

At that point, another fan chimed in and said that it has been forty years since that photo was taken and that people change as time passes. Dee Snider got back into the conversation and said that he would hate being held responsible for the mistakes that he made decades ago, but went on to say that his wife does.

Here’s what Dee Snider said when asked to describe the person running the United States:

A decent man who has dedicated his life to public service & suffered through the kind of personal tragedies that either kill you or make you wiser & stronger. He’s surrounded by corrupt naysayers that have forgotten the face of their fathers and have no shame.”

To which a fan responded:

“I like Dee. He’s a legend. But, Dee tends to rip on others’ past mistakes who share different political views, while putting on a blindfold regarding others like friends of his.

We’re all human. We all F up. And, I’m still waiting for this ‘Unity’ deal to start… Dee’s buddy [Sebastian Bach].”

And another fan responded:

“People change in 40 years.”

And Dee responded by saying:

“I’d hate to be held responsible for every stupid thing I did 40 years ago… though my wife still does!”
