Dee Snider Reacts To Being Called Egotistical And Self-Absorbed By His Former Bandmate

Twisted Sister icon Dee Snider recently posted a tweet in which he expressed his feelings about his former bandmate’s claims regarding being egotistical and self-absorbed.

Dee Snider is mainly known as Twisted Sister’s lead singer and songwriter, but he has also focused on a solo career. Apart from making music efforts, Snider also makes radio and television appearances and comments on the latest news about the music business through his social media accounts.

Just like Snider, his former Twisted Sister bandmates currently have different interests as well. As of now, Mark Mendoza, Eddie Ojeda, and Jay Jay French are rather inactive in the music scene. However, French still oversees the licensing and intellectual property rights for the Twisted Sister brand.

Following Twisted Sister’s last live performance, Jay Jay French decided to leave the music scene and gifted his guitars to the road crew. Currently, he works as a columnist, author, and motivational speaker. On September 21, 2021, French also released a memoir titled ‘Twisted Business,’

in which he wrote about his tenure in the band.

In his recent tweet, Dee Snider revealed that he just finished French’s book ‘Twisted Business.’ Following that, the singer revealed his favorite quote, which describes him as hyper, egotistical, narcissistic, and self-absorbed, but also committed, truthful, and professional.

Dee Snider’s tweet read:

“Just finished Jay Jay French’s book ‘Twisted Business’! It’s great! Favorite quote: ‘Dee may have been a hyper, egotistical, narcissistic, self-absorbed mutha f*cker, but he was committed. And he was truthful. He was professional, and he did what he said he was going to do.'”
