Twisted Sister’s frontman Dee Snider recently posted a series of tweets on his Twitter account and replied to a fan’s comment that he has a deep complex rooted in KISS’s success over the years.

As you probably know, Dee Snider is one of the rockstars who are the most active on social media and he enjoys using his Twitter account to share his views on social and political matters, respond to his followers’ questions, and discuss his opinions on rock and metal music and musicians.

Recently, Dee Snider was asked to share his views on one of KISS’s most famous disco songs ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You‘ which he said he has never gotten over. After this, a fan told Dee Snider that Gene Simmons only cares about the money and that was why he wanted to make a disco song. He also said that Simmons would even do a Polka song if it was going to bring him cash.

Dee Snider disagreed with this statement and said that he has been a KISS fan since day one. He also said that music tastes can vary and that some of their albums may not be for everybody but that doesn’t negate the fact that they are one of the best band’s in rock history.

Following that, another Twitter user accused Dee Snider of having a ‘KISS-complex‘ and said that he will never get over it. This tweet apparently angered Dee Snider who told the user to go and check out his latest tweet in which he praised KISS and clearly stated that he has always been a KISS fan.

Here’s what Dee Snider said about ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You’:

“‘Sounded’ more disco? It was flat out planned Disco song by the band! No excuse for it. I have never gotten over it.”

To which a user responded:

“Gene was always about the money and he would write a polka song if it made some cash.”

Dee Snider responded by saying:

“I don’t think so. I’m an original day 1 KISSopolis fan and they did it their way in the beginning. You can’t say the first few albums were bowing to anybody. They were just Kiss!”

To which a user responded by saying:

Dee’s Kiss-complex will never disappear. ‘Blah-Blah-Blah'”

Which angered Dee Snider who said:

“Read my last Tweet, idiot.”
