Replying to a comment on Twitter, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has revealed reveals his real thoughts on Mötley Crüe biopic The Dirt.
A fan named Angel Roses asked:
“Hey @deesnider what you think about The Dirt movie? I wrote to Nikki, as he keeps saying Motley sold out Arenas for ages, critics didn’t. I love him and them, but the fact they did doesn’t mean the movie has to be great because of that, in fact is not. #TheDirt”
Dee Snider answered:
“I watched the movie last night. Let’s just say that while I know & like the guys in MC, I have lived & conducted my personal life completely opposite of them. This is not a judgement, it is my choice. But I chose my path because I didn’t see the one they were on as righteous.”
A fan named Victor Colon asked again if he likes the movie or not:
“Um… So did u like the movie or not? I know u conducted yourself the opposite but did you like the movie? What did you think of it?”
Dee tweeted:
“Very hard for me to view any of these bio-pics fairly. I know too much of the behind the scenes and truths. Same went for Bohemian Rhapsody. I couldn’t watch it objectively.”
