Twisted Sister’s frontman, Dee Snider, recently responded to a fan’s statement through his Twitter account and revealed that he’s been working on a new solo studio album named ‘Leave a Scar’ announced its release date.

As you probably know, Dee Snider entered the metal scene in the ’80s as the lead vocalist of the metal band Twisted Sister. The band’s third album ‘Stay Hungry’ which was released in 1984 really put them on the map and helped them achieve mainstream and worldwide fame.

However, Dee Snider shocked their fans in 1987, when he decided to quit the band. Since then he’s been working on his successful solo career and numerous side projects. He released his latest solo studio album ‘For the Love of Metal‘ in 2018 and with his recent tweet, he signaled that there’s a new one on the way.

Recently, a fan tagged Dee Snider in a post and said that they really appreciate Snider’s transition from Hair Metal to Modern Hardrock as they believe that the second suits Snider more. To this, Snider responded by saying that they should wait for his upcoming album ‘Leave a Scar‘ which will be released on July 30, through Napalm Records.

Here’s what a fan said:

“Chris Jericho, in my opinion, Dee Snider transitioning from ’80s Hair Metal to Modern Hardrock is a great move for him. I think Dee Snider fits well into the Modern Hardrock Scene. He sings Modern Hardrock real nicely.”

To which Dee Snider responded:

“Wait till you hear my new album ‘Leave a Scar‘! The release date is July 30th on
Napalm Records! Produced by Jamey Jasta… again!”
