Dee Snider, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of Twisted Sister in the early 1980s, shared a post on his official Twitter page and revealed his opinion about Iron Maiden‘s frontman Bruce Dickinson and which singers are better than him.
Bruce Dickinson has been working with the iconic band Iron Maiden as the lead vocalist since 1981. Dickinson is widely known and appreciated for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence and most fans consider him as one of the greatest vocalists in the music industry.
While Dee Snider was answering fans’ questions about the best vocalists in the world and revealing his favorites like Freddy Mercury, Robert Plant, and Ronnie Dio, a fan praised Bruce Dickinson and stated that he is the best out of every other artist.
Here is what the fan said:
“Forget about the others… The best singer ever is the only one BRUCE DICKINSON“
Dee Snider replied to his fan’s statement and stated that while Bruce Dickinson is one of the greatest yet Freddie Mercury and Ronnie James Dio are better than Dickinson when it comes to the vocal range, voice control, and variety of their styles.
Here is what Snider said about Dickinson:
“Bruce Dickinson is one of the greats for sure, but I think even he would say that both Freddie Mercury and Ronnie James Dio (his hero) are better. Range, voice control, ability to vary their styles; they are the best of the best.“
