Twisted Sister’s frontman Dee Snider recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and claimed that the reason why a world-famous Hip Hop group was inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame because they deserved it.

There is no doubt that Dee Snider is one of the rockstars who are the most active on their social media accounts. Snider often enjoys using his Twitter account as a platform where he can announce his upcoming projects, share his views on social and political matters, talk about rock and metal music, and of course, interact with his fans.

The relationship between rock and Hip Hop music has been a highly debated one as while some rockstars appreciate the genre and have even collaborated with some rappers, others claim that they are completely different and that their fusion in a track degrades the core rock qualities within it.

Dee Snider is one of the most well-known metal frontmen of all time and thus, his views on music are highly valued and often sought by fans. Recently, a follower tagged Dee Snider in a tweet that said that The Rock NRoll Hall of Fame is trash‘ because while N.W.A is in it but Judas Priest isn’t.

To this, Snider responded by saying that both Judas Priest and N.W.A should be in it. In order to explain why he said that a Hip Hop group should be there, he stated that their genre wasn’t rock but that their attitude rocked. He went on to say that, in order to appreciate all musicians and music bands, the Hall should have been named ‘The Music Hall of Fame‘ as that would be ‘more accurate.’

Here’s what a fan said to Dee Snider:

“The fact that N.W.A is in the Rock and Roll hall of fame and Judas Priest isnt is a pretty good example of why it’s trash.”

To which Dee Snider responded:

“Both should be in. Yeah NWA isnt rocking but their attitude is. They should have called it The Music Hall of Fame. More accurate.”
