The British rock band Def Leppard has announced a new update on the ‘20/20 Vision Tour‘ with ZZ Top and regretfully stated that the tour is off due to the pandemic.
The band had planned the ’20/20 Vision Tour’ for the fall of 2020 with very special guests ZZ Top. However, the number of patients who were diagnosed with coronavirus has peaked again in recent times.
The possibility of a second wave in the global virus led to the cancel of many public activities for the rest of the year. One of these events, which the fans of Def Leppard have been looking forward to, ’20/20 Vision Tour’ has been stated as canceled according to the latest announcement of the band on Instagram.
Def Leppard said about the tour, which was organized as a follow-up leg of the successful summer stadium tour with Mötley Crüe, that they decided to cancel it since our collective safety is the most important thing right now. The band added that the tickets will be automatically refunded at point of purchase.
Here is what the band said on the Instagram announcement:
“20/20 Vision Tour with ZZ Top Update. We look forward to getting back on the road and seeing you soon. Stay safe.”
