Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott spoke in a recent interview with Rolling Stone and talked about Mötley Crüe’s return after breaking the legal agreement for their tour ban.
According to Elliott’s opinions, it wasn’t wrong that Mötley Crüe returned after signing the document. He stated that this wasn’t a divorce after cheating on his wife. He also described Mötley Crüe’s return as a wonderful thing for them.
Here’s what Joe Elliott told to Rolling Stone:
“No. This is not a divorce where you’re cheating on your wife. That, to me, would be wrong. If the president of a country or the ruling government of democracy said one thing and then did another, that’s wrong, because it’s real and affects people’s lives.”
“This is rock ‘n’ roll. Lighten up. It’s four guys that had enough of each other for a while and after five years, they’ve fallen back in love again. Fucking get on with it. I’m happy for them. It’s great for them – and us as well.”
