Mark Knopfler, widely known as the lead guitarist, singer, and songwriter of the iconic band Dire Straits, shared a video on his official Instagram page of last week’s tribute to deceased Formula one racer Stirling Moss and fans are thrilled to see him in good health so as his guitar playing too.

Stirling Moss was a Formula One racing driver and he won 212 of the 529 races he entered across several categories of competition and has been described as the greatest driver never to win the World Championship. Moss passed away at his home in Mayfair, London on 12 April 2020, at the age of 90, after a long illness.

The iconic guitarist Mark Knopfler shared a video on his official Instagram page and it was a clip from his last week’s performance of a tribute to Formula One driver Stirling Moss for SpeedWeek. Knopfler performed his legendary song Going Home: Theme Of The Local Hero.
