“As @Slayer is set to play their very final show tonight, I want to thank them for almost 40 yrs of uncompromising brutality…
You guys set the bar & never lowered it! And to my friends Kerry, Gary, Paul & Dave for years of hangs & jams (& Tom & Jeff as well of course!)”
A fan named Nicoletta said:
“When I was a teenager it happened to me more than once to “scare” some guys just by saying that I’m a fan of Slayer!!
And then to think “Hmmm, maybe I shouldn’t have said that…?!??” An AMAZING band! Glad I saw them 7 times through the years, of which 4 with Jeff.”
Another fan named James Byrne commented:
“One of the greatest bands ever, no question. I can’t believe it’s the end.”
