The legendary drummer of many bands like Dream Theater and Sons of Apollo, Mike Portnoy, shared a couple of new photos from his home and saddened fans announcing that he sent his longtime used ‘Siamese Monster’ set to the storage.

However, Mike also stated that he will not sell the precious stuff. He just wanted to make a quick clean-up on his room because of self-quarantine

Here is what he wrote:

“Sad day in the Portnoy household…my Siamese Monster which has been sitting proudly in my office for the last decade or so. The same kit from the SDOIT & TOT tours has been dismantled and is going into storage. 😔

**And no…I’m not selling it!!** Just making some breathing space in my office… Kinda like quarantine clean up! 😎”

A user named sabrethemoment commented on the post:

“Read up on this beast from an old UK fanzine. Looks incredible!”

Another follower of Mike named dlvphotovideo shared this:

“Sorry about the kit saying “Au Revoir”…on another note, in the pic I notice a lot of large scale CD shelves, been looking for some quality ones, where did you get yours? Need something for over 1000 CDs.”
