Former Dream Theater drummer, Mike Portnoy has posted a sincere tweet due to a special day via his verified and official Twitter account.

40 years ago, on Nov. 30, 1979, the English progressive rock band, Pink Floyd released their 11th studio album, ‘The Wall.’ The album has had won a lot of achievement awards for 40 years, also this album introduced them to the world.

Today, Mike Portnoy doesn’t forget the 40th anniversary of The Wall and made a short statement about Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

Firstly, Mike Portnoy celebrated the 40th anniversary of the album and explained that The Wall was his favorite album. Next, Mike thanked Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and Rick Wright for this masterpiece.

Here’s what he wrote:

“Happy 40th Birthday to quite possibly my #1 favorite album of all time (and concert and music film as well)

Also, Mike Portnoy has added a really rare photo of the wall album cover picture which signed by Roger Waters and Nick Manson. And Mike said that too “I still hoping for David one day.”
