Former Dream Theater and current Sons of Apollo drummer, Mike Portnoy, has shared a new photo on his official Instagram page, mocking some of the legendary metal bands in the same meme with coronavirus outbreak reference.

As we all know, coronavirus affected the whole world, and people follow strict methods of their health status. One of these methods is wearing a medical mask.

As you might see in the photo, cover arts of legendary albums of iconic bands -such as KISS, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, and King Crimson- can be seen with protective masks.

In the caption of his photo, Portnoy said that he is aware of the seriousness of coronavirus disease but wanted to share some parody album covers with his fans.

Here’s what Mike Portnoy said:

“I know these are serious times right now…but at least we can get a chuckle from some of the funny album cover parodies that have come out… 😂”

An Instagram user named stwtk421 commented and said:

“The King Crimson guy actually looks legit freaked out 🤣🤣🤣😷”

Another fan named jerome_leake_music wrote:

“Those masks don’t do shit to prevent it.”
