The Dirt made its debut on Netflix, and almost everybody is talking about Mötley Crüe‘s biopic. One of the most speculating topics of the movie is Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth‘s drug scene.

David Lee Roth snorting cocaine during a crazy party scene, and then he’s getting hit with the mirror.

Mick Mars and most of the witnesses told that this scene doesn’t base on a true story at all.

Here is the screenshot of the scene:

Two weeks ago, Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth participated in Joe Rogan‘s ‘Experience’ podcast and revealed the moment when Ozzy Osbourne‘s lyrics came to life.

Here is what he said:

“Some poor kid drank too much or whatever, he was out of sorts, sitting on the corner and somebody phoned him in from the local liquor store and you could see the disbelief in his face.

You know, when I leaned over and said to him, “You’re gonna be just fine,” it was like the lyrics of an Ozzy song come to life. Beyond that though, nobody really ever did. I weighed fifteen more pounds, I was doing the Arnold routine at the weight stack.”
