According to the recently published article of PageSix’s Jessia Bennett, Van Halen frontman Eddie Van Halen pulled a gun on Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst’s head while they were jamming in 2001.
Famous author Andrew Bennett presented pictures and rare stories on his recently published book named ‘Eruption in the Canyon: 212 Days & Nights With the Genius of Eddie Van Halen’ and revealed the extraordinary story between Fred Durst and Eddie Van Halen.
As you might already know, Eddie is not a fan of smoking marijuana, and that was the starting point of the chaos. At some point in their jam, Andrew claims that Fred Durst and his guests began smoking marijuana.
Eddie Van Halen did not like it a bit and wanted them to recover his gear as soon as possible. After numerous unanswered calls, Eddie went crazy.
Here is what’s written on the book:
“Eddie drove that assault vehicle through LA, into Beverly Hills, then parked and left it running on the front lawn of the house Limp Bizkit was rehearsing in.
He got out wearing no shirt, his hair in a Samurai bun on top of his head, his jeans held up with a strand of rope and combat boots held together by duct tape. And he had a gun in his hand.”
And here is the rest of the story from Eddie’s mouth:
“I put my gun to that stupid f–king red hat of his, and I said, ‘Where’s my s–t, motherf–ker?’ That f–king guy just turned to one of his employees and started yelling at him to grab my s–t.”
