The late legend Eddie Van Halen’s ex-wife and Wolf Van Halen’s mother, Valeria Bertinelli, shared some news about the blues legend Eric Clapton on her Twitter account and uttered harsh words about the musician.

As you may have heard, most of the venues all over the world recently started organizing live shows with eased coronavirus measures and people are back to seeing their favorite musicians and bands once again.

While most of the stars announced that they would need their audience to be vaccinated in order to attend their shows, Eric Clapton made a controversial announcement today and stated that he will not play shows where the vaccine is required.

Right after the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, announced that vaccine passes would be required to enter nightclubs and venues, Clapton shared a statement via film producer Robin Monotti‘s Telegram account to state that he will not be performing on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present.

Upon seeing this statement, actress Valeria Bertinelli could not resist sharing her thoughts. In her tweet, she said that Eric Clapton has always been a ‘d*ck,’ and clearly, she is not surprised that he took this stance.

Let’s check out what he said first:

“Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021 I feel honor-bound to make an announcement of my own. I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show.”

Valerie Bertinelli took the news to her Twitter page and said:

“Once a dick, always a dick.”
