Van Halen icon Eddie Van Halen‘s wife Janie shared a statement about the reasons why she loved dancing on her Instagram account emphasizing the healing effect of dancing in her life when she was overwhelmed by the struggles of life.

After his failed marriage with actress Valerie Bertinelli, who is also the mother of Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen met the actress and stunt-woman Janie Liszewski who later became Van Halen’s publicist. Eddie and Janie got married on June 27, 2009. Valerie Bertinelli and Wolfgang also attended the ceremony that Eddie’s brother Alex Van Halen officiated.

Last month, Janie Van Halen shared the sad news of her brother’s death with her followers on Instagram. Janie mentioned how devastated she and her family were after the death of her brother Tom and thanked everyone who showed their support during those challenging days of her family.

Recently, Janie shared a statement about the reasons why she enjoyed dancing on her Instagram account. She mentioned her life hadn’t been easy on her and dancing was a way to take care of herself and heal her wounds.

In her statement, Janie explained why she believed dancing was one of the greatest gifts in the world by saying:
