Legendary musician Elton John mourned the death of his long-time friend and cricket player, Dean Jones, by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.

Australian cricket player, coach, and commentator had been into the scene since 1984. Last year, he was introduced into the Australian Cricket Hall Of Fame. Unfortunately, he died three days ago at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest.

As you can see, Elton shared a picture of Dean Jones, which he got it a week ago, and showed that he wasn’t expecting the death of his longtime friend. Also, he paid his tribute to cricket legend in his way.

Furthermore, Elton said that life is unfair about the death of Dean and praised the character of Dean by mentioned how a great cricketer and father he was. Additionally, Elton sent his condolences to Dean’s family and mourned his death.

“Only last week I was sent this lovely photo of Dean Jones and Brett Lee in Mumbai. Now Dean has gone. Life is unfair. He was a great cricketer and a wonderful father.

My love and condolences to Phoebe, Janey, and Gussie.”
