On Instagram, the legendary rock and blues guitarist Eric Clapton‘s daughter Ruth Clapton-Bartlett told off a follower regarding his comment on the photo of her children by calling him a troll.
Ruth Clapton-Bartlett is happily married to Dean Bartlett and the couple has two lovely children, Isaac and Theodore. Ruth has been working on his personal blog where she shared the insights of her personal life as a 35-year-old blogger married with two kids.
A few days ago, Ruth posted a photo of her children on Instagram and wrote about her feelings about her eldest son’s first day at a new school after spending a long time at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Here’s how Ruth Clapton expressed her feelings about taking her son to a new school after six months of lockdown:
“That’s a lot of change for one little boy and there were times in the last 2 years where I thought we’d never get here! It’s been a long time coming and I’m so grateful. I just pray that he settles in fine, makes some friends, and catches up on where he left off from Year 2!
And now time for me to spend all day trying to keep my mind off worrying about my little bub! I’m not crying, you are!”
In the comment section of her post, an Instagram follower wrote:
“Who cares what Clapton’s daughter has to say? I don’t get it.”
As a response, Ruth wrote a long comment asking him to stop following her and take his hate to somewhere else. She also mentioned that she realized he was a troll since he only had 2 followers and didn’t post anything.
Here’s how Ruth told off the troll on Instagram:
“Don’t look at my insta then. Not sure that you need to get it, you either are interested in what I’ve to say or not. And if you’re not then take your hate elsewhere. That you’d comment on this picture of my beautiful kids where the post is about my eldest son’s first day at a new school in a completely new town after six months of lockdown says a whole lot about you.
But then you only have to look at your insta to know what you’re about, 2 followers, no posts. Happy Trolling! Bye!”
