An almost a thousand followed singer, writer, and blogger, also known as the lovely daughter of an English rock and blues guitarist Eric Clapton, Ruth Clapton, has posted a recent tweet on her Twitter account and opened up about Dawn Butler’s recent statements.

As you might remember, labor named Dawn Butler has accused the police officers of racially profiling her after she was stopped while traveling in a car in east London back in last week and claimed that was act was racial profiling.

Let’s remember what she said about the issue she had:

“We know that the police are institutionally racist and what we have to do is weed that out.

We have to stop seeing black with a crime. We have to stop associating being black and driving a nice car with a crime.”

Today, Ruth could not stay silent to the actions of police and supported Dawn Butler with encouraging words she spread.

Here is what she said:

“Lots of people making excuses or trying to disprove what Dawn Butler has said about her stop and search experience.

I bet these people say, ‘I’m not racist but…’ Why do you need to see the beginning of the interaction? Just making excuses for a flawed system.”
