The daughter of the rock and blues guitarist Eric Clapton, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett has expressed her joy and excitement over the fact that her sons are going to school after the long lockdown period and revealed in the comment section the issue that gives her anxiety.

The singer, writer, and blogger, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett, is quite an active social media user. She has been writing influential blog posts about her family and giving tips about health, beauty, and eco-friendly life.

Ruth has also been making a lot of Q&A sessions on Instagram Stories, revealing some lesser-known facts about her father, Eric Clapton. As you may recall, she has last answered a question if she has ever recorded a song with her dad.

Recently, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett has taken Instagram to give an update about the big day that her third-grade children are returning to school. She said that it’s the first day at a completely new school in York for her son, Isaac.

Ruth said she is so grateful that he changed a lot and they have progressed over the years to settle in a new environment. Admitting that she is extremely emotional, Ruth said she is crying as a proud mom.

A follower of her commented on the post to warn Ruth that she made a typo while writing the word ‘first’ and typed it as ‘fist.’ The follower, whose name is Adrian, said that it happens to him all the time and his fingers can’t spell. Ruth responded to the comment and said she always makes typos and it gives her such anxiety.

Here is what Ruth Clapton-Bartlett said in her recent Instagram post:

“So today is a big day! The first day of Year 3, the first day back at school after lockdown, and the first day at a completely new school here in York for Isaac. That’s a lot of change for one little boy and there were times in the last 2 years where I thought we’d never get here!

It’s been a long time coming and I’m so grateful. I just pray that he settles in fine, makes some friends, and catches up on where he left off from Year 2!

His face did improve when we got there I promise, he wasn’t quite smiling but he wasn’t grimacing either. And now time for me to spend all day trying to keep my mind off worrying about my little bub! I’m not crying, you are!”

The follower of Ruth, whose name is Adrian, commented as:

“Tiny slip of the finger Ruth: ‘Fist’ rather than ‘first’. Happens to me all the time. I can spell, my fingers can’t! 😉😂”

Ruth responded as:

“I always make typos! It gives me such anxiety! 😩😩😩”
