Eric Clapton excited the fans by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account and announced his return to the stage after years.
As you might already know, Clapton lastly played on Royal Albert Hall back in 2019, and he hasn’t been on the stage for over three years. However, the fans have been waiting to see him live once again.
Today, Clapton finally announced the good news with his followers and revealed that he will get back on the stage in the next year in Europe, starting in Vienna, Austria on June 4.
Additionally, Clapton will be visiting eight more counties in Europe for the ‘Summer 2022 European Tour,’ including Germany, Italy, Belgium, Finland, Netherlands, Russia, and more.

“The wait is over! After a three year absence, Eric Clapton returns to Austria for one night only at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna on Saturday 4 June 2022 as part of his Summer 2022 European Tour. Tickets go on sale Friday 7 May at 10:00am at www.oeticket.com.
Eric and his always superb band of musicians will take Austrian fans on an incomparable musical journey featuring some of EC’s most famous songs and blues standards.
The Summer 2022 European Tour will take Eric and his band through nine countries in Europe, including the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Austria and Russia.”
