Blues guitarist Eric Clapton took his official Instagram account to share a new post and announced that he will be joining a charity event.
As you might already know, Eric Clapton released his fifth studio album back in 1977, named Slowhand, and the legendary album peaked second place in the US Billboard 200 charts.
In the post, Eric revealed that he will be auctioning his Slowhand album for the Brit Trust, which is a non-profit organization that supports young people through music and education.
The auction will be held on May 5 after the annual Brit Awards 2021. Additionally, Eric stated that there will be over 100 rare albums alongside his Slowhand album for the auction.
Here is what Eric Clapton wrote:
“The White Label Auction in aid of the BRIT Trust returns next Wednesday, 5th May, in the run-up to the BRIT Awards 2021, with over 100 lots of rare white label test pressings to go under the hammer.”
