Legendary guitarist Eric Clapton’s daughter Ruth Clapton took her official Instagram account to reveal the challenges she encountered regarding her divorcement during the coronavirus outbreak.
As you might remember, about two weeks ago, Ruth Clapton announced that she and her ex-husband had a mutual agreement to divorce. She also explained how hard it was to make this decision with a statement she posted on social media platforms.
Recently, Ruth opened up about the custody agreement she had with her ex-husband, Dean Bartlett, considering their two lovely sons, Isaac and Theodore. Apparently, Ruth and Dean have been doing ‘week on week off parenting’ due to the lockdown in the United Kingdom.
However, Clapton stated that this was one of the toughest problems she faced during this period since it was quite difficult for her not to see her kids for a whole week. Ruth also pointed out that she isn’t really sure what is going to happen in the future, yet she will do her best to have a great time with her kids during the upcoming holiday season.
Here is what Ruth Clapton wrote about the challenges she faced:
“Back home to my boys today, we have been doing week on week off parenting while it’s been lockdown and it’s been hard not seeing them for a whole week at a time but lovely to get some rest, go for long walks and eat delicious food while it’s been my child-free week.
Not sure how we are going to figure it out now but I do know that I plan on making this December the most fun for them!”
