The blues and rock guitarist Eric Clapton’s daughter Ruth Clapton shared several videos of herself while singing a lullaby to her sons and opened up about her decision to take some time off from using her social media accounts.
Clapton’s 35-year-old daughter Ruth has been working on her personal blog where she often writes about the insights of her life as a working mother. She also often takes her social media accounts to share personal opinions on various subjects, including the ongoing problems she faced after her recent divorce.
As you may recall, Ruth Clapton had been married to Dean Bartlett up until this year. The couple, who has two lovely sons, has lately gone through a divorce process. In her previous Instagram post, Ruth responded to the fans who were worried about her emotional state and mentioned she was having some difficult times, particularly during the holiday season when her kids were with their father.
Recently, Ruth Clapton shared videos of herself via Instagram Stories while she was singing a lullaby to her sons, Isaac and Theodore. In the caption of her videos, Ruth revealed her decision to ‘going off-grid’ for the next couple of days.
While explaining the reason for her sudden decision, she stated that she wanted to give all of her attention to her children during the holiday season. Ruth also wished her fans and followers to have a wonderful Christmas with their loved ones.
Here’s what Ruth Clapton said about her decision to take a break from social media:
“Going off-grid for the next few days so I can give my boys as much as of my undivided attention as possible and to be present with my family…”
Clapton also added:
“Have yourself a Merry little Christmas everyone, here’s to many more to come that will hopefully be not so little. Love and light to you all always.”
