The daughter of the legendary rock and blues guitarist Eric Clapton, Ruth Clapton has given the great news that she’s back in music for the first time in 15 years and signaled the possibility of a long-awaited collaboration project with her father.
As you may know, the talented singer, blogger, and mother of two, Ruth Clapton, has been highly active on social media, giving updates on her everyday life and revealing the secret of looking fresh in a busy routine.
Most recently, she has taken Twitter to unveil quite exciting news that she’s started writing lyrics and singing again for the first time in 15 years while admitting that it feels good to be back.
The current statement of Ruth has given a way to the thought that she may finally work on a new song with the British legend, Eric Clapton. A few months ago, during a Q&A session on Instagram Stories, Ruth said that she’s never recorded a proper song with her father although she would love to.
She continued and explained that they worked together for one of the songs in the thirteenth solo studio album of Clapton, ‘Pilgrim.’ However, Ruth admitted she needs to hone her crafts first, and it’s quite intimidating to make a song together with Eric Clapton even if she is his kid.
Here’s what was said in the tweet Ruth responded with the great news about herself:
“I think it’s that time again. Share with us something good that has happened in your life recently?”
Ruth Clapton answered as:
“I’ve started writing lyrics and singing again for the first time in 15 years. Feels good to be back.”
