The daughter of the legendary British guitarist Eric Clapton, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett has revealed the fact that she has never recorded a song with her father, except her spoken verse on one of his songs on the ‘Pilgrim‘ album years ago.
As you might know, the blogger and singer, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett, frequently takes Instagram to answer her followers’ questions, some of them about his father Eric Clapton. During one of these sessions, she has revealed the most annoying question that has been asked about her father lately.
Ruth admitted that she gets frustrated when she is asked over and over again if she sees her father. She said that it’s quite a silly question because she would never ask of it someone else. Ruth added that of course, she sees him as often as most people see their dad.
In her latest Q&A session on Instagram Stories, Ruth Clapton-Bartlett has disclosed an interesting fact that she has never recorded a proper song with Eric Clapton although she would love to.
She said they worked together for one of the songs in the thirteenth solo studio album of Clapton, ‘Pilgrim,’ however, Ruth admitted that she needs to hone her crafts first. She added it’s quite intimidating even if she is his kid.

“Have you recorded anything with your father?”
Ruth responded as:
“I did a spoken verse on one of his songs on the ‘Pilgrim’ album years ago! I’d love to record something with him but I feel like I need to work a little more on honing my craft first, he’s really good obviously and that’s quite intimidating even if you’re his kid.”
