The daughter of legendary rock and blues guitarist Eric Clapton, Ruth Clapton has given an update on her renewed lifestyle while she opened up about the second lockdown period in some of the states in America.

The talented singer, writer, and blogger, Ruth Clapton, has been highly active on Instagram and Twitter, reacting against the statements of Donald Trump about the results of the election, and giving some fashion tips for the winter season.

Most recently, Ruth has come up with an enlightening post in which she explained how the first lockdown affected her life and how she turned this chaotic time into something beneficial for herself.

She admitted that she learned so much about herself in the last lockdown, managed to get on top of her fitness, explored music and books, kept her kids alive, stimulated and educated. Most importantly she grieved lots of things that she didn’t know she hadn’t put to bed, she came out of it a happier person, more sure of who she is and what she wants out of life, Clapton said.

Ruth also mentioned that they are prepared in a different way than last time and it will all be okay. Calling this period lockdown 2.0, Ruth Clapton encouraged her followers a bit by saying we got through the first one and we’ll get through this one too.

As you know, a new wave of lockdowns and business closings swept across Europe and some states of America lately. In the US, where every state is seeing a rise in cases, the governor, Tony Evers, of Wisconsin has been reduced to pleading with people to stay home. Illinois’ governor banned indoor dining and drinking in Chicago. Other states are likewise considering reimposing restrictions.

Here’s what Ruth Clapton said in her latest Instagram post:

“Lockdown 2.0 here we go. We got through the first one and we’ll get through this one too. This too shall pass.

I learned so much about myself in the last lockdown, I managed to get on top of my fitness, I explored music and books, I kept my kids alive, stimulated, and educated.

Most importantly I grieved lots of things that I didn’t know I hadn’t put to bed, I came out of it a happier person, more sure of who I am and what I want out of life. I’m not sure this one will be quite the same but I have found what works for me to keep me going and I hope you all are the same.

We are prepared in a different way than last time and it will all be ok. Check-in with those you love and take care of yourselves. Peace and love.”
