The official and verified Instagram account of Little Rock, Arkansas-based rock band, Evanescence, has shared a new post today and unveiled some good and bad news for their fans who eagerly wait for the release of their upcoming album.

The Bitter Truth will be the fifth-ever studio album of Evanescence and it will be released by BMG Rights Management in March. The album will feature 12 new tracks including two bonus tracks for ‘Target Exclusive’ and ‘Japanese Edition’ and also a special Studio Documentary for the Japanese Deluxe Edition Bonus DVD.

According to the latest announcement of Evanescence, due to some manufacturing issues, the ‘Target Exclusive‘ which includes two special tracks had to be delayed to April 16th. However, the CD edition that meant to be released on March 26, 2021, still will be released on the same day.

‘The Bitter Truth’ is now available for pre-order as Vinyl and CD on for the price of $22.99 and $12.89.

However, the CD with bonus tracks is available for pre-order now and is available to ship for our March 26 street date through Quantities are limited so if you want one, better grab it now!”
